Owners of older Hondas, Subarus, Mazdas or Nissans should pop out and check they are still there.

Models of the marques top the list of New Zealand's most-stolen cars.

The Honda Torneo (Accord) topped AA Insurance's most frequently stolen-car list for the third consecutive year, and the Subaru Impreza continued to be a popular target for thieves, holding its second place spot from last year.

AA Insurance tips for preventing car theft
•Always lock your car, even when parking at home
•Keep all valuables and your car keys out of sight, including away from your front and back doors
•Where possible try to park in a garage, carport or off-street
•If you have to park on the street make sure your car is under a street light or in a well-lit area
•If you have to park in a car park then use an attended, secure parking building if possible and park close to the entrance or exit
•Install visible security such as an alarm light, immobiliser or steering lock
•Never leave your keys in the car or your car running when unattended
•Be extra vigilant over weekends and during warmer weather when there are generally more thefts reported

也不知道是这车防盗不好容易被偷，还是好卖容易出手
怎么BMWX5，AUDIQ7都不在排行版上呢，还有那些丰田大吉普。。。奇怪奇怪。。

容易偷的都是老车，没有防盗警报系统的
subaru这种还是便宜毛毛又喜欢又是性能车

Subaru 很多车型的玻璃窗都没有边框，玻璃可以无破损直接拉开，小偷可以直接伸手从里面把车门打开，有些老式Alarm,如果从里面开，警报都不会响

之前听说过本地的报废车场和贼有合作关系，车场负责卖配件销赃，贼负责提供货源，求证实
