Mainland China ( not Taiwan - which China has long threatened to invade ) has actually exposed us to more shock , by relying too much on it , selling it too much cows and technology and allowing it to buy up too much.....which will accelerate now , in agriculture and housing , as it has become full-on China gov policy . In business , CHina is only interested in exploitation , and vertical integration - already has that ( Shanghai regional gov ) with the SYnlait operation in Canterbury . Shanghai Penxin is now restructuring to allow mass buy ups inside Fonterra , as farms go bust under debt . Chinese buyers get money at 0-1% and are backed by Chinese gov , even with foreign buying/speculation in our housing. And especially so in business ventures .

Absolute rubbish , and you are not a mind reader . Mind your own business . This is just a short and objective statement . There's enough of a problem with some immigrants who are completely ruthless and actually resent the locals in NZ - some of them have posted on this blog , as they usually do - without adding hand-wringing , PC apologists to assist them. Or even mildly threatening ones, like you.
This blog is all about facts and objectivity and how some people/Chinese behave compared to others . And the genuine threat now from Mainland China .

This is a classic ! ( please send Duncan more inside stories like this ) . What comes out here , graphically , is the already anecdotal evidence that many of those buying are from mainland CHina , but who are only part time residents . And playing the residency option. They are buying multiple houses and are often on an agenda - even supported from ""back home"" .
Certainly , Chinese were getting cheap loans from gov authorities ( 0-2% Interest ) to do this , and now there is a more pronounced , expressed , policy from the Chinese gov to buy up in other countries , things will only ramp up and get worse ( for NZ ).
What was suggested , perhaps , by this arrogant couple buying up multiple properties - sight unseen - is that they were acting as agents for others in CHina - who were speculative . It appears that either this couple , or their contacts in China ?, wanted multiple properties and only to play the market - hold and sell later or just rent , as the market gains in values. Not just looking for 1 happy home to live in.
So we need more insightful stories and evidence , but clearly a flood of speculation especially from CHina.....and rampant immigration the last 15 years - or longer - into a small country without the infrastructure , has busted the housing market in Auckland . Permanent damage plus recovery is very difficult. More repercussions to follow - now happening in the Tron and elsewhere.
Another good point of this story is how the young Chinese man who came ages ago and tries to fit in and participate, is now blasted away by the current wave of greedy speculation , and doesn't like it . He can't get a house , and also will be getting more 'attitude' from locals because he looks like the latest immigrants . Likewise , it all comes back on even earlier Chinese arrivals , in smaller numbers , who have tried to make a life here and participate ( eg from Taiwan , Singapore and Malaysia.......and the Koreans ).
The current flood means people feel like they are being ""Invaded"" ( it's a natural human reaction ) and probably very real in Howick , which is now 40% Chinese .
SO a flood of greedy immigrants who only want to exploit the country , bounces back on all kinds of folks , including others who look Chinese . And of course poorer locals trying to buy a first house.....now with little chance .
Meanwhile all this supposed freeing up of land in Auckland , where the housing stock is hopelessly behind demand , even for the new immigrants - never mind the locals - will only result in even more houses for foreign immigrants and speculators to buy (!!) . While native Aucklanders pay for the infrastructure to cope with it . And still miss out on a house .

其实这事真的没啥好参与的，你以为买农场是公司集团？不是背后更大的。。。。算了吧。。。没那么简单的了。。
