yes, some people just cut corners and dont bother to read and follow manufacturer's installation instruction.
how did it manage to pass the council inspection i wonder.......is it still under workmanship warranty?
if so, might have to get them to fix the problem otherwise hope you will have it resolved by responsible and experienced tradesmen.
is it ok for you to pm me who they are? cute baby by the way.
