更严谨地表达，你还不是PR(Permanent Resident)，你只是R(Resident)，我也跟你一样。在现行移民法下，只有拿到Permanent Resident Visa，你才可以被称作New Zealand Permanent Resident，目前我们只是New Zealand Resident。

当然，有些地方写着for New Zealand citizen and permanent residents之类的，有时候这个permanent residents不仅仅指移民法中所说的狭隘的permanent resident，很多时候包括了我们这些resident。
