2003- 2007 -----> higher interest, affordable mortgage

2010- 2016 ------->low interest, high mortgage.

This is the territory we have not gone through, that is why a lot of banks are reversing the gear now.
They are scared because the money is from them.

what will happen if " black swan ( Trump) " win the election. Republican is into high inflationary policy which mean higher interest and higher US dollar.

There is a possibility of this black swan happening, although remote.

Just like Brexit, the undercurrent was too strong to ignore.

People in the Polls business all have vested interest, what was published was not actual market position. NZ Stock market is showing sign of selling off ( last 2 days, 170 points) factoring this remote possibility of Trump "might win".

Most of NZ banks money come from overseas ( there is little saving in the domestic market), it will only take a little while for the bank to raise interest rate once money is in short supply and becoming more expensive.

Forget the OCR, the money belongs to the privately owned banks ( aussie), not reserve bank. haha.

haha，I really hope Trump wins next week. Would be interesting to see how the world is going to react.

But I don't think he is going to win, so...
