小弟最近在看房，发现有很多hotel在卖自己的某些间房子。。。然后房子一般是有签酒店和买家的lease合同之类的。

比如下图

很好奇这是什么操作啊。。。lease期满后可以选择不续签，申请改rate然后房子就自己住这样子么？

不算
是stratum in freehold的

我就是搞不懂那为啥酒店要把自己的房间卖了呢。。。而且不止一家酒店这么做

cash flow

and still under their management, they can earn the monthly management fee or resale the management to someone else

but your investment is locked for 20-30 years with a good return theoretically
