· Coordinate, implement and oversee allproject plans in their entirety and monitor project status and modify whenneeded to ensure timeliness and quality of projects.
· Read constructionplans and specifications and direct and monitor workers and subcontractors’work to be carried out according to plans and specification.
· Proactivelyidentify and work to resolve any site issues.
· Analyse site issuesand quickly address problems during projects.
· Determine thenecessary actions in emergency response situations.
· Ensure all workers andsubcontractors’ compliance with Health and Safety at alltime at any site.
· Coordinate resourceallocation and site access.
· Maintain sites in atidy and safe working environment at all time.
· Provides assistanceto project manager on site where it is required.
· Provide support to workers andsubcontractors where necessary.
MaterialManagement
· Estimate material demand accordingto plans and place purchase orders via phone or email. Pick-up material fromsupplier when necessary.
· Coordinate the supply chainmanagement of the material to ensure delivering on the right time, rightplace and in right quantity.
Communication,planning and reporting
· Liaise with council inspection and engineeringinspection.
· Oversee and facilitateto ensure subcontractors are fulfilling all obligations and that work iscarried out according to approved contracts, specifications, andschedules to match the standard of the building code.
· Supervise and motivateworkers to deliver good performance of their assigned duties.
· Fill up projectpaperwork where it is required, for example, Health and safety paperwork, Sitehazard notice board, any relative project paperwork, etc.
· Report regularly tohigher management regarding project progress and delays, inspections,subcontractor performance.
· Collaborate with higher managementwith project schedule planning and progress monitoring.
· Attend in regular project meetings toparticipate planning and reporting for projects.
