Senior QS
Experience working as a QS/Est in a residential construction environment.
Proven knowledge of the New Zealand building code and regulations
High attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and deadline driven
Use advanced software to provide accurate estimates and quotes.
Analyze project plans and specifications to identify material, labor, and equipment needs.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates, ensuring precision and competitiveness.
Maintain a comprehensive database of cost data, supplier prices, and subcontractor quotes.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and suggest alternative materials or methods.
Participate in project meetings and assist with client and subcontractor negotiations as needed.
Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to project managers.
