We are highlyspecialized in geotechnical engineering, providing, geotechnical engineeringservices for land development and infrastructural projects. Our service scopeinvolves geotechnical investigation, geotechnical detail design andhydrogeology consulting.
Due to recent fast-growing market, we are now seeking onehighly motivated Graduate Geologists to join our team.
Full time/Part time
Minimum Requirements
• Geotechnicalengineering qualification or Earth Science or equivalent
• Knowledgeof New Zealand and internal design codes and practices
• Awarenessof slope stability, including foundation and retaining wall design
• Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with an ability to relate effectivelyand professionally to people at all levels.
• Self-motivatedand disciplined, with a proven focus towards achieving set targets.
• Passionateabout project delivery and ownership
• Excellentreport writing skills.
• Excellentdocumentation and computer skills
• Full Diverlicence holder (Clean credit record)
The role includes, but is not necessarily limited to:
• Undertakegeotechnical investigation including hand augering, machine drillingsupervision, CPT supervision, groundwater monitoring.
• Installationof piezometer and groundwater testing equipment.
• Corelogging based on “Field Description of soil and Rock”, NZGS, Dec 2005. Use ofCore-GS soil logging software.
• Geotechnicalinspections including fill test, CBR test, foundation and retaining walls.
• GeotechnicalInvestigation report writing.
• High-qualityverbal and written communication with clients
