Wimpex Ltd is a food manufacturing business servicing domestic and international markets. The company is developing rapidly and needs a sales person to coordinate sales of its product range through supermarkets, domestic shops and smaller retailers, food service and online sales.
We have an amazing opportunity for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team in an extremely fast paced environment. You will need heaps of drive and tenacity to work hard, make contacts, talk extensive number of details, follow on new and existing contracts details - and deliver sales. We are looking for sales assistant located in Christchurch area.
We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Sales Assistant to provide the necessary support to sales both domestically and internationally. The successful candidate will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation, quotes and information to current and potential customers
The goal is to facilitate the team’s sales activities so as to maximize their performance and the solid and long-lasting development of the company.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify local and overseas business opportunities.
Sales activities such as managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information both internally and with customers.
Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material
Respond to complaints from customers, if any, and give after-sales support when requested
Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and present sales reports
Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness
Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems
Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events
Plan & record production plan and purchasing plan with other departments.
Ensure adherence to laws and policies
Experience as a sales coordinator or representative in other administrative positions will be considered a plus;
Experience with MYOB is beneficial.
Good computer skills (MS Office)
Proficiency in English
Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A team player with high level of dedication
BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; certification in sales or marketing will be an asset
