* Position Details
Role: Sales Assistant / Representative
Location: 13 Aglionby St, Melling, Lower Hutt
Hours: Monday–Friday: 9am–5pm | Saturday: 10am–3pm
* What You’ll Do:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Drive sales and meet monthly targets
Identify and pursue new leads through cold calling, referrals, and networking
Provide knowledgeable, solution-focused service across our full product range
Support marketing efforts, promotions, events, and trade shows
Use (or learn to use) platforms like HubSpot, Xero, and Quotient to manage leads and sales
Assist with customer orders and warehouse tasks when required
* What We’re Looking For:
Previous sales experience, ideally in retail or outdoor products (gazebo/event gear experience is a bonus!)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
A motivated, self-starter attitude with a team-focused mindset
A valid driver’s license for occasional client visits
Availability to work Saturdays
Physically able to pick and pack orders when needed
