Job Title: Casual Sales Assistant – Merric Chartwell
Location: Merric’s new store at Chartwell Shopping Centre, Hamilton (opening late August)

About the Role:
We’re looking for an energetic and customer-focused Casual Sales Assistant to join our brand-new Chartwell store team. In this role, you’ll help create a warm and welcoming shopping experience, assist customers in finding the perfect outfit, and contribute to achieving store sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver friendly, professional customer service in line with the Merric brand
Provide styling advice and outfit suggestions tailored to customer needs
Maintain high visual merchandising and store presentation standards
Process sales and handle transactions accurately
Assist with stock management, including unpacking deliveries and restocking
Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales targets
About You:
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the fashion industry
A passion for style and helping customers look and feel their best
Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently as well as in a team
Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak retail periods
