SportHub is a government-registered, non-profit organisation based in New Lynn. We manage multiple venues, organise sports and community events, and deliver a wide range of programs across Auckland.
We're seeking for a Marketing & Programme Coordinator to play a key role in growing our programmes, strengthening community participation, and ensuring smooth operations of our centre. This role blends event and programme coordination with marketing, communication, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sports Facilities & Operations – Manage reception services, including bookings, fee collection, stock control, and reconciliation of payments. Support daily venue operations including setup, pack-down, cleaning, and general maintenance.• Programme & Event Coordination – Organise and deliver community events, youth training, sports club activities, competitions, and tournaments. Manage programme schedules, merchandise, and ensure high-quality delivery in partnership with coaches, volunteers, and staff.
• Marketing & Communication – Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote programmes, events, and activities. Keep stakeholders informed through newsletters, social media, emails, and displays. Build SportHub’s profile through positive stories and strong community engagement.
• Sponsorship & Funding – Prepare sponsorship proposals, contracts, and reports. Liaise with potential sponsors and funding partners, and manage event funding applications and accountability processes.
• Reporting & Evaluation – Monitor programme performance, participation data, and member growth. Provide regular reporting and evaluation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Community Engagement – Develop healthy activities to increase participation and build positive relationships with clubs, schools, players, parents, and regional sports organisations.
Must have a valid NZ work visa.
