Job Vacancy:

We are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join BMH Homes.

Key responsibilites:

Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
Measure and quantify materials, labour, and subcontractor work
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
Assist to manage procurement and negotiate contracts with clients
Monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial performance
Prepare progress claims, payment schedules, and cost reports
Assess variations and prepare variation claims
Conduct site visits for measurement and verification
Prepare final accounts and ensure accurate project close-out
Liaise with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients

To apply for this role, you must

Have a completed relevant tertiary education background
Previous quantity surveying experience is preferred
Be competent in quantity surveying relevant software and with the ability to learn business systems
Have a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Have strong skills in communication, high abilities in time management and multitask
Must hold full unrestricted working rights for New Zealand
