In the fast-paced world of cross-border e-commerce, a stable, secure, and efficient technical infrastructure is the backbone of business success. We are looking for a Junior IT Support Assistant to join our technical team. In this role, you will assist in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. This is an ideal entry-level position for fresh graduates or individuals at the early stages of their IT career who are passionate about e-commerce technology, system operations, and data stability.
Key Responsibilities
Website & E-commerce Support
Maintain website content and assist with product launches.
Perform minor front-end updates and fixes using HTML, CSS, and Liquid.
Assist with pre-launch Quality Assurance (QA) testing to ensure safe and stable deployment of new features and plugins.
Maintain and troubleshoot third-party apps and platforms to optimise performance.
Data & System Operations
Execute regular data backups and verify backup integrity in line with company policies.
Monitor system performance, runtime status, and error logs daily, and report issues promptly.
Conduct routine system security scans and prepare quarterly reports on findings.
Marketing & Platform Support
Provide technical support for Google Ads and digital marketing campaigns.
Assist with Google Merchant Center (GMC) product syncs and basic technical configurations.
Cross-Department IT Support
Deliver daily IT support to Sales, Warehouse (Dispatch), Marketing, and other departments.
Assist with office software administration, including Microsoft email accounts, platform access, and permissions.
Support hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting (PCs, printers, routers, etc.).
IT Training & Awareness
Train new employees on password policies, phishing awareness, and data privacy standards.
Organise quarterly internal IT training sessions to introduce system updates, new features, and promote cybersecurity best practices.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Fundamental programming logic with exposure to at least one language such as Python, PHP, or C#.
Strong interest in e-commerce platforms and internet-based systems.
Fast learner with a high sense of responsibility and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
Clear communication skills and the ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) accurately.
