Casual Receptionist

Location:
SportHub Community Centre, New Lynn

Working Hours

This is a casual role (non-fixed hours), and staff can select shifts flexibly.

Monday, Wednesday & Friday：5:30p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday：9:00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.

The candidate doens't have to cover all shifts, and can choose the ones that suit their availability.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers at the front desk, ensuring a high-quality customer service experience.
Handle cash and electronic payments accurately.
Monitor and track for walk-in customers. Intervene in the game if necessary for payment.
Coordinate bookings and manage daily schedules.
Maintain a tidy and welcoming front desk area.
Handle phone calls and emails, responding to customer inquiries and bookings.
Support day-to-day operations and assist team members as needed.

Requirements

Responsible, detail-oriented, with strong customer service skills.
Good bilingual communication and coordination skills.
Able to multitask and adapt to changing needs.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and the ability to quickly learn front desk systems.
Own transportation & legal right to drive.
Prior front desk or cashier experience preferred, but motivated beginners are welcome.
Available to start immediately.
Legal right to work in New Zealand.
