XXXXXXX xxxxx xxxxxx is a xxxxx Government owned investment firm. Employed in a holiday role as a bidding assistant, I reported directly to the head of the Investment Promotion department and was tasked with:
• Liaison with the hotel conference centre to ensure all required equipment was available in the selected room. • Receiving and providing confirmation of receipt of tender documents and displays from large international firms. • Organising displays within the tender room and ensuringall related AV material was cued and ready. • Ensuring the meeting room was correctly set up, and all necessary conferencing facilities were in place for negotiations. • Providing administration support to the head of the Investment Promotion Department as required.
During my time I was involvedin the bidding meetingsfor projects up to 6.5 billion USD. This role enabled me to developexcellent communication skills while applyinginnovative problem solving skills to deliver a working solutionthat meet or exceededexpectations.
