Job description About the Company
We are a boutique and growing residential development and construction company based in Auckland, delivering projects ranging from multi-lot subdivisions to high-end luxury homes. With a strong pipeline ahead, we are seeking a capable Site Manager to join our expanding team. The Role
This is a full-time Site Manager position for our upcoming Hamilton project. You will oversee daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain compliance, and support project delivery both onsite and in the office. You must be based in Hamilton or willing to travel. Travel reimbursements are provided. A company vehicle, laptop, and phone will be supplied. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day site operations and manage site access Ensure the site is clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times Maintain a strong health & safety system onsite Coordinate subcontractors and monitor workmanship to ensure high standards Interpret and work from drawings and specifications Communicate effectively with consultants, contractors, and local authorities Coordinate inspections and attend stakeholder meetings Prepare project progress reports Plan future works, book trades and inspections Apply for permits, consents, and related approvals Carry out quantity take-offs and general project administration
About You Minimum 1 year of experience in residential construction Able to read and interpret drawings and specifications Strong communication and organisational skills Professional and confident when liaising with external parties Team-oriented with a proactive mindset Preference for applicants with Hamilton council/local authority experience Mandarin language ability is an advantage Full NZ driver licence required
