Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent About the RoleWe are seeking a capable and motivated Logistics & Operations Coordinator to take ownership of day-to-day logistics coordination and operational support within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is well suited to someone with at least one year of hands-on logistics or operations experience, who is comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and communicating confidently with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Based in our Ōtāhuhu industrial warehouse, you will play a key role in ensuring logistics processes run smoothly, issues are resolved efficiently, and operational standards are consistently met. Strong multitasking ability, excellent time management, and a proactive problem-solving mindset are essential. A tertiary qualification is advantageous but not essential.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate end-to-end logistics operations, including freight bookings, dispatch scheduling, and deliveries Act as a key point of contact for the primary warehouse, 3PL partners, freight forwarders, and transport providers Monitor shipments, identify risks, and proactively resolve delays or issues Prepare, review, and maintain accurate logistics and operational documentation Support inventory control, stock reconciliation, and reporting Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors Provide guidance and operational support to warehouse staff as required Ensure compliance with internal procedures and relevant regulations Handle inbound calls and walk-in customer order requests, enter phone orders, and provide customer support Manage and respond to customer emails relating to dispatch, delivery, and freight enquiries
Skills & ExperienceMinimum 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination Strong organisational and time-management skills High attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability Confident communicator able to work effectively with internal teams and external partners Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Experience with ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems is an advantage Proactive, flexible, and willing to take on a variety of tasks Well organised with a strong eye for detail to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations
