The MTA is planning to sell a majority share in VTNZ, in an effort to diversify its investment portfolio.
Sixty per cent of the inspection arm is expected to go to German inspection giant DEKRA SE.
MTA spokesman Ian Stronach says the next step is for members to give their views on the sale.
"Talk to people from the board and the senior executive, so any other questions.
"Then form up here in Wellington on the 20th and indicate to the board whether they're supportive of it or not."
Mr Stronach says MTA and DREKA will be natural long term partners. |
