what is "essay-type long answers" questions?

Strategic management exam format is stated as below:
The case study for the final exam for this paper will be handed out in class next week (Week 12).  The exam will be open-case, with four (4) essay-type long answers each worth 25%.  You will be required to answer all four (4) questions..

Now, I am not very familiar with this, can anybody explain that to me? How is it different from short answer/long answer questions? examples will be great.

long answer questions expect you to write at least 1 page to 1.5 page. They should be paragraphs, not bullet points,.

Essay type questions are: you are expected to write the answer in an essay format, component introduction, body part, as well as conclusion. Some time referencing is required (according to lecturer's requirements).

short answer questions, your answer is around half page.
