We require a suitably experienced bar & Gaming Licensed Duty Manager to join our team in Central Auckland Applicant must have suitable experience working in a bar, with gaming machines (Pokies). The applicant must have a valid LCQ & preferably have a current and valid General Managers Certificate, with a clean record as a Duty Manager
The applicant must have at least one year experience in bar and gaming room operations. A relevant qualification in hospitality or management will be an added advantage.
you must be friendly, honest & have a customer focused attitude. Good references and Police Clearance will be required.
The applicant must be willing to work on weekends and public holidays. While not essential but knowledge and experience of cooking basic bar finger foods will be required to ensure quality of food served is maintained.
Your tasks will include, but not limited to:
- assist in planning and supervising bar
- assist in planning, booking and supervising gaming, and entertainment activities.
- assist in supervising security arrangements and property maintenance
- observing liquor, gaming, health, food safety, and other laws and regulations
- ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction and preferences
- liaising with community groups sponsored and assisted by the bar
- selecting, training and supervising staff
