pre-settlement inspection

I am undertaking a final inspection on a property which I have recently purchased.
What are the things that I need to look for in this final inspection? I need some of your experience.

Make sure the chattels are in good working conditions and the following are all working:

1) Sockets and lights
2) Stove / Oven
3) Hot water cylinder

make sure you put it in writing what you want them to fix before settlement. I bought a house and the vendor promised to fix the electric window before settlment but we were too thin skinned to ask them to put it in writing. They didnt fix it. Suprise!!

true. never trust oral promised, put it in writing. protect yourself. good luck LZ!
