To be successful in this role you will be a Registered Medical Laboratory Technician, or be willing to work towards registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Board. You will need to demonstrate excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to achieve the targets and objectives of the service. You will also have a positive attitude, and have the flexibility to fully participate in our roster that also includes evening, weekend and On Call work.

So, if you are registered as a Medical Laboratory Technician with the NZ Medical Laboratory Science Board or meet the requirements for registration and are looking for a technically challenging but rewarding role, then this role could be for you.

A National Diploma in Science, Level 6, or equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 12 months re relevant fulltime (or equivalent) medical laboratory experience that, in the opinion of the Board is sufficient for registration as a medical laboratory technician
