Never knew that social sciences could be a major itself! Well social science is a very wide definition, which encompasses psychology, geography (esp. human geo.), criminology, anthropology etc. Usually when studying a BA, you major in one or two of these subjects, i.e, you might take a BA in psychology and/or Economics. Honestly, I don't think a BA in Social Science would be a good idea for you, because looking at the course structure, it is apparent that although there is a large selection of papers you can choose from, the degree doesn't allow you to explore any particular area of study in depth. I think at tertiary level, you should specialise in what interests you most rather than to study too broadly. |
