We are looking for Dentists (graduates to experienced dentists) to join our team. About Us Dental Planet has bold growth and expansion plans in Auckland as well as across other parts of New Zealand. Comprising of practices, mobile dentistry and dental laboratories, the team has options of working in a practice or mobile environment. Investment is focused on practice acquisitions, renovations and improvements within practice interiors, new instruments and hand pieces, staff development and ensuring staff levels are optimized to continue to meet the growing demand, particularly in the South Auckland communities. About the role The day to day work in general dentistry includes meeting with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns, performing cleaning and other preventative measures, establishing plans for improved dental hygiene, performing dental procedures such as extractions, root canals and filling cavities. This also includes a range of emergency procedures being undertaken under the relief of pain contract. Cosmetic procedures are also performed such as smile makeovers with teeth straightening, teeth whitening and veneers, crowns, bridges and implants. About you - Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Sciences or Surgery
- Dental Council Registration with Practicing Certificate
- Right to work in New Zealand
- Clear record as per the Vulnerable Children Act 2014
- Work experience as a Dentist – although open to new graduates
- In-depth understanding of dental hygiene
- Experience with dental equipment and tools, surgeries and teeth extractions
- A caring person with the ability to make patients feel comfortable
- Attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
