Senior QS

• Experience working as a QS/Est in a residential construction environment.
• Proven knowledge of the New Zealand building code and regulations
• High attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and deadline driven
  

• Use advanced software to provide accurate estimates and quotes.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to identify material, labor, and equipment needs.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates, ensuring precision and competitiveness.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of cost data, supplier prices, and subcontractor quotes.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and suggest alternative materials or methods.
• Participate in project meetings and assist with client and subcontractor negotiations as needed.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to project managers.
