Below is a summary of what is on offer forChristchurch residents who have been affected by theearthquake; •Prepay – Any Prepaycustomer who we’ve identified using their phone inChristchurch City & Banks Peninsula between 22nd Februaryand 8th March will get 100 anytime calling minutes to NZmobiles and landlines valid for one month. •OnAccount – On Account voice customers whose billingaddress (as at 8th March) is in the greater Christchurchregion will receive 120 minutes free to use anytime to anynetwork to mobiles and landlines (excludes all corporate andgovernment customers). When your minutes have been appliedyou will be notified via TXT. These minutes do notexpire.
•Fixed line - Crediting all ourChristchurch fixed line customers with one month’s freecalling for the month of March and backdated to include theperiod from 22 February to the end of February. The freecalling offer includes calls to landlines and mobiles on allnetworks.
•Waiving the disconnection and reconnectionfees for home phone customers whose homes have beenaffected.
•Waiving the early termination charges forany of our SKY customers with a Christchurchaddress.
•Offering free call diversions from Vodafonelandline or Home Phone Wireless phones to another NZlandline or mobile number, free for 30 days, for customersunable to get into their homes or businesses. Customers canset this up online, call us or text 3166.
•Puttingaccounts on hold and waiving Vodafone landline and broadbandaccess fees for 30 days for customers who are unable toreturn to their homes or businesses
•Waiving any ofthe normal fees related to cancelling your Vodafone contractor new connection charges if you have to relocate yourservices. Please call us to discuss: consumer customerscall 0800 438 448; business customers call 888 from yourmobile or 0800 400 888
•We've put together an onlinedeal exclusively for people living in Christchurch. Peopleliving in New Zealand or overseas can order an emergencypack for a Christchurch resident.
