继去年2010年的UC盃歌唱大赛，UC Dragon在这裡向大家推出我们2011年的第一个大型活动:
『UC Dragon VidCom 2011』
这是一个专门為喜欢电影的人所设计的比赛，不论你是学生、上班族、待业中、或是家庭主妇，你都有这个机会能够来报名参加。
比赛的规则很简单，你可以以任何的形式(喜剧、惊悚、浪漫、剧情、恐怖、MV、或其他类等)来录製一部影片，你将必须使用我们所抽选的两句经典影片对白来穿插在你的影片中，让你好好的发挥你的编剧功力，而影片上限时间為五分鐘。若你打算以非英文的影片来参赛，我们则会要求你提供英文字幕。

特别人气奖、NZD 50元
在影片截止日期后，我们将会举开一个影片的颁奖典礼、在其中我们会播映前七名的入选影片，并会於典礼中颁发所有的奖项。届时典礼将会欢迎任何人入场。

Official Rules Brought to you by UC Dragon

Affiliated with OUTSA (Otago), HK SOC, (Canterbury), UCCSSS (Canterbury), A-square (Canterbury), HKSS (Auckland)
As a basic summary, these are the things you need to know before taking part:
- This competition runs from now till the 26th of May and is totally FREE to enter!!
- You CANNOT take part in this event if: you organised this event, and neither can your family members or you are under an agreement with any talent agency
- BE ORIGINAL AND CLASSY. The video you post must be entirely your OWN idea, and NO INAPPROPRIATE content is allowed
- Only ONE ENTRY PER PERSON is allowed and the video MUST NOT BE more than 5 minutes
- The closing date for submission is the 10th of July, 11:59PM
- Once you've registered, you will be given TWO RANDOM DIALOGUES from the following list which MUST BE INCLUDED in your video

- Videos will be judged by a panel of judges and 3 prizes will be awarded to the best 3 videos
- FIRST PRIZE- $400
- SECOND PRIZE - $100
- THIRD PRIZE - $50
- There's another prize that is based on the VOTERS review (There will be a special Facebook voting period from '11:59 PM on Jul 10, 2011 and 11:59 PM on July 16, 2011')
- People's Choice Award - $50
Submit your Video through email or upload to this free file sharing site –www.fileserve.com and send us the link. You can also submit it via CD. Please drop your CD with your name written on it to the UCSA office. You can also post it to:

UC Dragon VidCom (the “Competition”) starts on 22 April, 2011 at 11:59 PM and ends on 10 Jul, 2011 at 11:59 PM (“Competition Period”). ELIGIBILITY: Competition is completely FREE to join! It is open to legal residents of New Zealand. Committees of UC Dragon (“Organiser”) and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies are not eligible to enter or win. Also not eligible to enter or win are any parties who: (1) are represented under contract (e.g. by a talent agent, manager, or other party) that would limit Organiser’s rights in the Entry and ability to use and show the Entry in any media form as authorized below; 2) have an acting or modeling or other contract that would make their appearance in the Entry a violation of third party rights; or (3) are under any other contractual relationship or are a member of any guild or union that may prohibit them from participating fully in the. Void where prohibited by law. Competition is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial/territorial, and local laws.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Competition Period, produce a video (“the Video”) that incorporates the assigned dialogues. It can be of any genre. To enter the Competition, you must fill out the following form and then we will email you the dialogues that you must include in your video within 24 hours. You will be randomly assigned 2 dialogues.Entries cannot exceed 5 minutes in length (including credits). All Entries must be received by 10 July
2011 at 11:59 PM to be considered eligible. Limit one (1) Entry per person and per email address. Entries received from any person or email address in excess of the limitation will be void. Entries will be rejected if : (a) the Entry does not conform to the specific requirements listed below. Without limitation, the Organiser is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed, incomplete or incompatible Entries. All Entries become the sole property of the Organiser and will not be returned.
BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, THE ENTRANT AGREES THAT THE ENTRY COMPLIES WITH ALL CONDITIONS STATED IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES. THE ORGANISER WILL BEAR NO LEGAL LIABILITY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE USE OF THE ENTRY BY THE ORGANISER AND THE ORGANISER SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY AN ENTRANT IN THE EVENT IT IS SUBSEQUENTLY DISCOVERED THAT THE ENTRANT HAS DEPARTED FROM OR NOT FULLY COMPLIED WITH ANY OF THE OFFICIAL RULES.
REQUIREMENTS OF ENTRIES: Your entry shall not contain, as determined by the Organiser, in its sole discretion, any content that: 1) is unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane or pornographic;2) promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons; promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous 3) is obscene or offensive; endorses any form of hate or hate group; appears to duplicate any other submitted Entries 4) defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people, companies, or organizations 5) contains copyrighted or copyright protected materials where the copyright is owned by others (including photographs, sculptures, paintings, and other works of art or images published on or in websites, television, movies, music, or other media), without express written permission 6) contains any singing, playing of any musical instrument, or performance that has been broadcast, published or televised as part of a recording or motion picture film, music performance, or television program7) contains any other content that is or could be considered inappropriate, unsuitable, or offensive, all as determined by the Organiser in its sole discretion; 8) violates any law
Entry must be the original work of the entrant, and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity, moral rights, or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity. If the Entry contains any material or elements that are not owned by the entrant, the entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to submission of the Entry and in writing, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit the use and exhibition of the Entry by Organiser in the manner set forth in these Official Rules. FOR ALL ENTRIES: By submitting your Entry, you agree that your Entry conforms to these Official Rules and that Organiser, in its sole discretion, may disqualify your Entry for any reason, including if it determines, in its sole discretion, that your Entry fails to conform to these Official Rules in any way or otherwise contains unacceptable content as determined by Organiser, in its sole discretion. By submitting an Entry, entrant hereby grants permission for the Entry to be posted on www.ucdragon.org or www.facebook.com/ucdragon or other websites. Entrant agrees that Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for any unauthorized use of Entries by third parties. Released Parties do not guarantee the posting of any Entry. Prior to being posted online, the Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to edit or modify any Entry, or to request an entrant to modify or edit his or her Entry, in order, to ensure that the Entry complies with these Official Rules, or for any other reason.
JUDGING PHASE: All Videos will be judged by a panel of professional judges. 10 finalist will be chosen from all the videos and they will be shown during the awards ceremony. The judges will choose the top three videos out of the finalists. The winners will be announced on the awards ceremony in early June. PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD VOTING PHASE: As soon as the Organiser receives the videos, they will be uploaded to the Organiser’s Facebook page. All Entries will be available for voting between 11:59 PM on May 26, 2011 and 11:59 PM on June 1, 2011 (“Voting Period”). Any votes that are placed before the voting period will be void. During the Voting Period, members of UC Dragon will be invited towww.facebook.com/ucdragon to select their favourite video. They will vote by “liking” the video. Limit one (1) vote per member during the Voting Period. Entrants are prohibited from obtaining votes by any fraudulent or inappropriate means, including, without limitation, offering prizes or other inducements to members, as determined by Organiser in its sole discretion. Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, the Finalist that receives the highest number of valid votes, as determined by Organiser, will be deemed the “People’s Choice Award”. And the award will be presented in the award ceremony.
WINNERS NOTIFICATION: Judges’ and Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Competition, without right of appeal. Potential finalists will be notified by email. PRIZES: The First prize winner will receive $400, the second prize winner will receive $100, and the third prize winner will receive $50, the People’s Choice winner will receive $50 by bank deposit and the Winner will have to provide a valid New Zealand bank account for receiving the Prizes. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Organiser. Winner may not substitute, assign or transfer prize, but Organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, if any, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. Any additional prize details are at Organiser’s sole discretion. Without limitation, the Organiser is not responsible for the distribution of any prize between any persons who may have participated in making the Entry.
