今天下午有一个city council的面试，一共有3个经理，足足说了有一个小时，面试之后都不知道到底都说了什么，主要是围绕之前的工作，之前准备的问题基本都没用上，他们每个问题都很具体，还需要有例子来支持,到现在我还脑子一片空白，什么都想不起来了，等我好好整理一下，等想起来在放上来

有没有citycouncil工作的童鞋，请问city council的面试都这么长时间吗？时间这么长是有希望吗？面试之后多久能知道结果呀？职位是负责contact的，这样的职位在council大概是什么工资水平？

当时他们对我的答案都很满意 （其中大老板自己说good answer的），还有看他们的表情就知道结果了。

唯一不好的就是我问的钱有点低呵呵。

你可以问联系你的HR这个工作是什么Band, 然后给我发消息我能告诉你这工作最高能拿多少工资。

一般来说如果你是最理想的他们过2-3天应该会联系你的。

I used to think Mr Sea is a full time professional property investor and surprised to see you are interested in working for AT :) - Btw, how would you know the details of pay band if you are not in the organisation already?

他们说会查我的reference, 职位是contract coordinator，职位有点低和以前的工作比，权限是每月200K。希望他们会请我阿，这样就能和各位大虾一起工作拉

Property investor needs cashflow from a steady pay job too....otherwise banks wont give you the money...

I'm just a newbie investor with a few properties...

这个interview也是6年多第一个，然后就nailed it了呵呵，最好笑是我未来大老板在UoA一个会议上碰见我现在的老板然后把我申请工作的事告诉他了哈哈。

My pay is only Band G, not high, but still way higher than what I'm getting in Opus now...


Labrador, Band是多少钱的是花花先告诉我的，一般council hr都很笨没心眼的会直接告诉你band是哪个的

I'm only been 11 months investing in property, not going full time with my strategy for at least 10-15 years lmao.

I have a few contacts like 花花 that told me what pay each band gets =)

You gotta be smart you know......too bad I only found out about the pay for each band after I left the interview =(

Everyone thinks that consultants earn more, that's why it was easy for me to get into the council.

Now I will try getting myself a Band H position in the next 2 years =)

To become a Band H, you will need to be promoted as a senior (or "principal" in some positions) as this is a salary band for senior positions. Otherwise, you will just move upward in the same band.

Yeah I got that job, starting on 7th June, based in Henderson,

2 years in asset management, 7 months in laboratory, 4 years in road pavement design.

Yeah I know, Band H salary is middle to mid-high management in Opus.

车子?!  ....Well, first of all, it depends on the job nature, if a position holder needs to always go out for site visits during works, he/she may be able to take the pool car home (likes the inspectors). However, I have also heard that since Council's policy is to discourage car uses, this practice was some how/is going to be cancelled.

I dont think an Asset Engineer would require such a frequent use of cars for site visits and can get a pool car home, leave alone a contract coordinator who would mainly stay in office.

My position is more desk based with occasionally site visit, so car is not included in the package.

I asked for between 75k to 80k, so they gave me 80k.

Why give someone more than what they asked for?  So it's my fault, but I'm ok with it.
