Back of House & Barista Team Member (Casual)

Catfe•Mao is looking for a reliable, fast-learning team player with solid barista or drink-making experience to join our back-of-house team.


What You’ll Do:
        •        Make a variety of drinks including coffee, bubble tea, milkshakes and more
        •        Take customer orders and assist with takeaway order preparation
        •        Maintain a clean, hygienic and well-organised kitchen at all times
        •        Use café equipment confidently (coffee machine, blender, POS, etc.)
        •        Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and friendly service


You’ll be a great fit if you:
        •        A cat lover
        •        Have proven barista experience, or have worked in a bubble tea shop or similar drink-focused environment
        •        Speak fluent English, and are confident making small talk and interacting with customers
        •        Are a team player with a positive attitude who supports others and works collaboratively
        •        Understand the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in a food and drink setting, and take pride in keeping things tidy
        •        Are reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
        •        Have legal work rights in NZ
        •        Are planning to stay in NZ over the summer, and are available to work during the Christmas/New Year period
