Procurement Officer
About the role We are seeking a motivated and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. This position is responsible for implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring optimal purchasing performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery. Key Responsibilities Source new raw materials or packing materials as per requirement, collect all related quality and compliance documents, collect supplier evaluation documents to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Negotiate good price and payment terms with new and existing suppliers, prepare and issue purchase orders, follow up for delivery schedule Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important procurement data on the raw material data base in a timely manner. Share the updated records with related parties Collaborate with internal departments, Warehouse, Planning, Production, R&D,QA and Fiance team, maintain a clear communication related to procurement related tasks Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs and improve efficiency, work closely with warehouse on inventory accuracy and controls slow moving inventory etc Assist in maintaining Raw material and Supplier database by saving all related documents in designated file folders relate well with other colleagues, Comply with company policies and procedures including H&S policy Preferred Background Background in pharmaceutical, food, or healthcare supply chain Sound knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or quality assurance Previous experience working with MPI, Medsafe, or international regulatory bodies What we offer At SUNCARE NUTRITION (NZ) Ltd', we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
