Graduate Programme

Intergen is a young and energetic company of 180+ professionals with offices in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Sydney and Perth. We have just been awarded 6th place in Unlimited Magazine's “Best places to Work” competition, so we are someone you are going to love working for!

Each year Intergen gets involved in a “Graduate Programme” for our Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin offices. We provide Graduates with training and mentoring support in business consultancy and the application of your programming skills to real world business problems.

We are interested in BSc, BTech and BIT Graduates that WANT a career in IT! Graduates majoring in a finance or business related degree that have a strong interest in IT are of strong interest to us as well.

You will need to email a covering letter, your resume and a copy of your academic transcript* to [email protected]. Please remember to state your preference for working in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch or Dunedin.

Once applications have closed and we have reviewed all applicants, we will create a short list of students that we would like to interview, and reply to students that have been unsuccessful.

Intergen holds an “Open Day” for the successful Graduates where you are invited into our offices to attend interviews and psychometric testing. The interviews will cover areas such as competencies, technical knowledge and general information about you.

Intergen will offer the successful students a position.

Key dates:

    * May 2008 - Applications open!
    * 18 July 2008 - Aplications close
    * August 2008 - Shortlisting and telephone interviews take place
    * September 2008 - Open day and interviewing, successful candidates offered jobs
    * Start Date - End of January 2009

You are going to spend your first week in Wellington for a boot camp before you start.It is a lot of fun.It is culture.They run the camp every year.During the day , you have the speakers introducing about the company.They arrange the flights and accommodation for you.The place is really nice.
You will have a social night with all the managers and peers in the company.This year is bowling.A lot of fun.
