Sports nutrition is a practice as much as it is science. This informative course deals with the components of sound nutrition and what is meant by a “good diet”. 
 
With your ever-increasing option of what, when, and where to eat, this course is designed to give you sound nutritional advice. 
 
It is ideal for those in the exercise and sporting professions, eager to gain further knowledge in nutrition, optimal health and exercise performance. 
 
This course will also explore the latest information concerning an athlete’s diet from training to competition, through to recovery. Instructors, athletes, trainers and coaches from all sporting disciplines will find this both interesting and beneficial.

Introduction to nutrition for fitness and health 
Weight loss/gain and fad diets 
Exercise Physiology and metabolism 
Iron, calcium and fluids 
Dietary supplements and ergogenic aids
