The Star City 2 Surf is back for 2012!
Sunday March 25th
And our aim is to be bigger and better than ever!
The Star City 2 Surf is a fun event for the young and old, the serious and not so serious, individuals, corporate teams, schools and families. It is all about participation, team building, reaching personal goals and having fun!
The impact of the February 2011 earthquake on both the route and the resource requirements around the city meant The Star City 2 Surf with Pump was cancelled for the first time in its 38 year history.
Community unity is one of positive outcomes of the events of the past year. The 2012 City 2 Surf will again provide Canterbury residents an opportunity to come together to share a day of fun.
The 2012 Star City to Surf with Powerade will start at Pioneer Stadium's Centennial Park, the Heart Foundation 6k will start at the lower fields of Opawa School, predominately following the Heathcote River to finish at Ferrymead Park.
