Unfortunately, due to health reasons, his current owner needs to rehome him.7 y7 W# R- j _/ M( z+ y
Geoffrey is a 6yr old, German Shepherd/Rough Coated Collie mix originally from RSPCA& p; Q! i. V G u4 u- S5 u: }0 _! K; K
He has been a member of our family since he was 8 weeks old and always the submissive part of a twosome.+ M- _$ J: _( u4 @' f
Originally with a Labrador and now with a corgi.4 F% `! t4 B' s' Y, P/ A0 c2 J' F
He is a dog that requires leadership – from either another dog or his human friend.% Y4 ^0 q5 w4 w
Geoffrey is not a brave dog. He does not like bangs (guns) or fireworks.$ y& l( h. ?4 M$ Y) d
He is a soft, loyal boy who welcomes praise.
& k( p2 E/ A7 R Geoffrey responds very well to routine and is easily controlled by voice. K7 v# b- ~" b' y( t' ~- X+ F
He does not stray from his master, is easy to take anywhere.& J1 U& B, Y, ^7 h
He has a cod liver oil tablet and a garlic tab each morning.
. K4 q, q7 }6 I# l U. ?* ` He then sits and takes a biscuit very gently from me.
; B2 l1 S8 U" O$ u1 S' H He has fantastic toilet habits and rarely makes a mess where he shouldn’t.7 V; z4 Y* Y6 C( c! m2 T' g3 N
I would not even think about rehousing him if I was in good health. He is a great companion and very empathetic towards me.8 S# _/ P) \% o- B! |, j! \, ^% ]
If he has a shortfall at all, it would be that he is somewhat wary of some men, although once he knows them he is just fine.! ^) F7 ~- b4 w
