去美国旅游行李被偷

去年圣诞去美国行李被偷，车完好无损，旁边目击者说可能是用遥控器开的，租车公司不承认，然后帮我做了一份新租车合同，让我去找保险，那个时候急着回来也就同意了，回来了以后保险公司拒赔，说车没有暴力侵入，后来了解保险公司是租车公司自己的，搞到现在也没什么进展，大家有没有主意？

当时报警没有，有警察报告，保险公司没理由不赔的，可以去投诉他们。

保险公司都是这样的，我去年去玩被偷了包，结果保险公司说不赔 没有记录。我有警察局开的证明 反正没用，他们说旅游景点没有记录。

你们说的都试过了，新西兰的保险一样不陪，我觉得美国租车公司的车不安全，但是保险是他们自己的，政府部门也没什么办法

你投诉没，保险公司不管往上一级投诉，好像有保险公司的仲裁，或者直接小额仲裁告他们。

警察开证明也不给赔？

是啊 我人证导游都有，反正就回我 旅游景点没有记录 是我自己的不小心。我就mlgb。300的保险就保7天 还什么都没陪 真心无语

I've lost quite a bit of money(a few thousand USD) and personal belongings (my partners jewelery) while I visited Africa earlier this year.   I went to the local police when I discovered this, the local police told me they can help by giving me a letter stating the items I have lost, but it would be difficult for them to launch an investigation because there were no witness. anyway I got back, sent the police report/letter(in French!) to the travel insurance company. the insurance company hired a priivate investigator to investigate the case (I felt like I committed a crime?). anyway at the end I've got part of the money back, about $500 USD, and a credit note for the jewelry.
