好像Linkedin每隔几天就会给用户推荐12个职位。有时会出现给IT行业的人推荐建筑行业的建筑师(Architect)这种笑话。
今天看到它推荐的一个职位名字看起来也有点搞笑“[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.85098)]Intermediate Team Leader”。一般基层工程师才分初级中级比如Junior Developer, Intermediate Developer等,team leader和architect也有junior/intermediate 就让人搞不明白了。
不过点进去一看,却发现它基本上是我看到的最好的一个招聘广告。
和其他大多数招聘广告主要罗列一堆不切实际的技能,基本上是wish list不同,它反而很生动得把应聘者最希望了解的信息全部写出来。把该leader需要去管理一群什么样的人也写上去([color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]The team is famous for its love to cycle to work),很有意思。最重要的,是也明写了薪水范围([color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]approximately $100-110k base).
大多数招聘广告都是不写薪水的耍流氓,好一些的写上six figure.

That was back in 1993. The role you are applying for sits within our "Mobile apps" Line of Business (LOB), 1 out of 5 LOBs under global Orion Health umbrella.

Why this Team Leader role is important for Orion Health
This is a new role, not "Richie McCaw's" replacement. We have a ready-to-go team of 5 developers and testers temporarily managed by one of our leads, who is keen to pass this responsibility onto an accountable professional who is passionate about high-quality product delivery.
You will be given the opportunity to create your own rules to lead your team to develop the next wave of Population eHealth Systems in addition to revamping the portal in 2016. Yes, there will be deadlines! :)
By focusing on continuous improvement you and your agile team will be deploying fit-for-purpose software through utilization of new technologies and tools.
Collaboration
At Orion Health we achieve our targets through collaboration, knowledge sharing and trust. On a daily/weekly basis you will be working very closely with cross-functional teams including Product Owner, Business Analyst and management.

The Role
You will be a natural-born leader with extensive experience in Java based mobile applications development. Good verbal and written English skills are must-to-have in this role as you will be liaising with variety of people on a daily basis (face-to-face and via different digital channels).

Your job and the team will be"based in Auckland, New Zealand, so if you are not New Zealand based, but like the idea of relocating to Aotearoa - we will support you with your visa application.
The Team
The development team you are joining consists of 5 people (and will grow), all from different countries, so you will enjoy the multicultural flavor of the bunch through food, views and experience sharing sessions during your lunch breaks.
The team is famous for its love to cycle to work, quite a few people use motorbikes. There's also a "walking and step" competition among the team.
They are all Apple (not a fruit) fans, and use these nice shiny Mac Books for coding, watching job related stuff on YouTube, Skyping and googling for code snippets :)
On Friday afternoon everyone enjoys a swig or few from Kergerator (that's the name of our craft beer machine). He is very friendly and generous by nature.
The Fit:
You will be incredibly curious, innovative and open with your ideas to apply new approaches to improve the product the team develops.
You won't complain when along with your Team Leader responsibilities, you will be asked to cover coding review or dive into improvement initiatives.

Salary is negotiable, but we're talking of approximately $100-110k base depending on the experience and a company bonus on top of that. More details at the right time, of course.
