由于今年橄榄球世界杯的缘故，NZ羽毛球协会取消了南岛各地区青少年组的集中赛事，Badminton Canterbury的青少年各年龄组的代表队将从周五选拔赛中直接产生，并直接参加年中的全国比赛。任何适龄青少年有兴趣代表Canterbury比赛的，请不要错过下周开始的周五选拔赛。

Friday Night Junior Badminton
Age Under 19 as at the 31st December 2011
• Dates: Fridays 18, 25 February, 4, 11, 18, 25 March
• Times: 7 – 9.00pm approx.
• Format: 1 singles & 2 doubles(mix doubles) ability based games per night
Points awarded each night: Attendance = 10pts, Winning a game = 3pts
Prize-giving on last night – heaps of Prizes!!!!
• Cost: $40.00 (payable before or on first night, or $10 per night)
Results from this event are used for selection of Junior Rep. teams – attendance
therefore is a criteria to be considered for a team.
This applies to U19, U17 & U15 players
