How much alcohol can I bring back with me without paying duty and GST?
A
Providing you are 17 years or older, and it accompanies you through the Customs arrival process, it is not carried on behalf of another person, is intended for your personal use and not for a gift, and is not intended for sale or exchange, then your allowance is:
4.5 litres of wine or 4.5 litres of beer
Three bottles (or other containers) each not exceeding 1125 ml of spirits, liqueur or other spirituous beverages.
so for 500ml, you can bring in 3 bottles duty free. |
