Job Opportunity: Parts Manager / Procurement Officer(Mandarin Speaking)
Location: Auckland / Tauranga / Christchurch – Vertu Group NZ

Vertu Group is the authorised dealer for Sany EarthmovingEquipment, Sitrak Trucks, and Yutong Buses, operating frombranches in Auckland, Tauranga, Christchurch and Victoria in Australia. We support a widecustomer base across the construction, logistics, and public transport sectors withpremium equipment, servicing, and parts support. We are now seeking a Chinese-speaking Parts Manager /Procurement Officer to join our expanding team. This role is vital inensuring smooth parts procurement, stock control, and supplier engagementacross our brands and aftermarket lines.
* Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement and inventory of genuine and aftermarket parts for Sany, Sitrak, Yutong, and attachments
- Liaise with suppliers (domestic and international, including China-based OEMs) to ensure timely ordering and cost efficiency
- Coordinate inbound logistics, customs, and warehousing activities
- Maintain accurate parts database and ensure alignment with service team requirements
- Communicate clearly with workshop teams, branch managers, and customers for part identification and availability
- Assist with parts pricing, quotation preparation, and stock level reporting
* Role Requirements:
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and verbal) – essential for effective communication with Chinese suppliers and NZ-based team
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a procurement, parts, or supply chain role within the heavy machinery, trucking, or automotive industry
- Solid understanding of parts catalogues, technical drawings, and supplier portals
- Familiarity with inventory and procurement software (e.g., Unleashed, Xero, or similar)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Full NZ work rights and valid driver’s licence
