What You’ll Do
- As a Site Manager, the primaryresponsibility is to lead the project to successful completion while ensuringthat all safety, quality, and scheduling requirements are fully met.
- The Site Manager sets theproject schedule, carries out day-to-day supervision on site, and adjusts theschedule flexibly in response to site conditions.
- Ensure quality control, and takeinspection with Council/Consultant Engineer.Lead and coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to achieve project milestones.
- Communicate with clients, in-house QS, project & construction managers to maintain strong relationships and clear expectations.
- Implement and uphold rigorous Health and Safety standards across the site, and conduct inspections to mitigate construction project risks.
- Manage project timelines, resources(labor, materials, equipment) and budgets to achieve set objectives.
- Resolve any issues or conflictsduring construction, implement appropriate solutions and escalate whennecessary.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience with aminimum of 2 years under your belt as a Site Manager in local commercial /residential construction.
- Sufficient knowledge of NewZealand building codes, construction methods, materials, standards and health& safety regulations.
- Strong on-site communication,problem-solving mindset, and multitasking skills
- Strong leadership skills withthe ability to motivate teams.
- Ability to read and interpretconstruction plans, drawings, specifications, and report to project manager.
- A Registered Licensed BuildingPractitioner (preferred).
- Full, clean driver’s license (ability to drive van).
