An online enquiry is a new service available to visitor, student and work permit applicants, who have submitted their applications in New Zealand, which may enable you to view the current status of your application on our website, provided that the function has been activated on the application (by completing the relevant section in the application form). When this service is activated by the officer who received your application, an automatic email is generated and sent to your nominated email address. The email contains instructions on setting up your personal homepage, through which you will be able to track the progress of your application/s with Immigration New Zealand.If you are having problems with the instructions in that email, or you wish activate your Online Enquiry while your application is processing, please contact our Immigration Contact Centre via email or phone.

If you have submitted an online application (eg. Working Holiday or Expression of Interest) your online account is already set up - you need to log back in to the Online Services page from where your application was submitted and click on "What's Happening" link. Your application status will be displayed on this page.
