Unfortunately, due to health reasons, his current owner needs to rehome him.9 |9 j2 X y' O2 y/ u. B
Geoffrey is a 6yr old, German Shepherd/Rough Coated Collie mix originally from RSPCA' r2 [* ]" F+ y- j$ F
He has been a member of our family since he was 8 weeks old and always the submissive part of a twosome.
1 m2 H" I' o5 ^5 | Originally with a Labrador and now with a corgi.
7 T- r6 B2 q# o: s He is a dog that requires leadership – from either another dog or his human friend.8 O5 z+ K6 H0 }
Geoffrey is not a brave dog. He does not like bangs (guns) or fireworks.9 Z6 H# Y- t' _
He is a soft, loyal boy who welcomes praise.1 C8 S0 E9 ^+ L# [3 O+ B, n3 d: v
Geoffrey responds very well to routine and is easily controlled by voice.3 N9 ]7 |% l; {* E$ Q9 A# m, T# N
He does not stray from his master, is easy to take anywhere.
( U. @( _1 R+ r+ d2 o: ?6 @. K/ O He has a cod liver oil tablet and a garlic tab each morning.
( e) e% ~; s0 ]/ f: |+ r; j He then sits and takes a biscuit very gently from me.. \( z0 @8 Y* P2 D! d4 z3 `
He has fantastic toilet habits and rarely makes a mess where he shouldn’t.% s1 o( Z7 C8 L8 H
I would not even think about rehousing him if I was in good health. He is a great companion and very empathetic towards me.
, W3 U0 k; y% ]! V h9 g, g1 F If he has a shortfall at all, it would be that he is somewhat wary of some men, although once he knows them he is just fine.

' G3 k. |4 m, C; f8 J) n8 o% d* @9 b# J5 f6 h6 Y/ N
