Yes ,you are right. I hate rote , espetially when I face speaking part of IELTS test. As far as I know, many people repeat and cheat the examiner and I hate it.
However, how can I speak out what I learned if I do not rote? I need to store some words and sentences in my head so that I can communicate with others.
Currently I am watching 'Neighbours' to practice my listening and speaking. Is it the kinds of rote as you mentioned if I repeat some sentences and use them in real life? |
