各位童鞋有没有人在Fletcher Building 的 IT 部门呆过。。。不知道待遇各方面怎么样

Majority of FB IT support used to be outsourced to Datacom (not sure about now). For big corporates with their own IT department, their pay are usually not as good as IT integration company, as IT is only a supporting function of the company's business (i.e. they don't make money out of IT people). If you want to learn and earn more, you will be better off working for an integration company that sell IT as a service. You will have better career opportunities as well as exposure to more interesting technologies.

感谢楼上的建议。。。我申请的是Systems Engineer的职位。。。和我想的一样。。。毕竟现在我在小公司(20+)人。。。是纯IT的公司。。。我所在的也是核心队伍。。。工作了3年多。。。也稍稍建立起了自己的地位和人际关系。。。实在不知道应该怎么取舍

楼上说的有一定道理， 但具体到某个公司，也许不一样哟。
如果你想知道该ｊｏｂ　工资的上下限，可以直接打电话给ＦＢ的招工顾问。
具体的待遇如何，说真的，等你拿到面试的机会，可以直接问也不迟。

如果有自信的话，抓紧申请吧。

再多说一句，你可以不让现在的雇主知道，先申请试试。
如果你的确有能力，大公司应该会给你一个更稳定的工作机遇。

谢谢楼上的建议。。。其实我已经到最后阶段了。。。第二个面试和team leader见面。。。但是我还在犹豫万一他们真的要我。。。我不知道该如何取舍

if i were you, i will decide based on the package. If FB's total remuneration package is at least 10k more than what you are on, then why not. If the pay is only marginally better than your current package, then i will probably think twice. Seriously, working for a non IT company doing support, after a while your brain will become numb, it's probably a more relax environment, but slowly u will lose all your skill, as you get less opportunity to deal with interesting project work, things are usually more static, and u don;t get to work with people with similar mind/better skill as much.

Another factor to take into account is, what phase of your career are you in. If you are starting out or are still trying to gain more experience/skill, you will be better off working for an IT company as skill+experience = bargaining power in the future. If you have been in IT for a reasonable period of time, and you are married and are thinking of having kid, then may be good pay + stability + relax environment is the way to go, as you will get so much more time doing your own thing.

祝贺你得到了面试的机会。 不用担心了。他们的team leader/manager 是中国人。
根据你的能力和条件，他会给你一个清楚的答复。

BTW, I am 100% agreed with what 117WIK said, but hope a chinese team leader could drive the team more dynamic and challeging.

如果IT對公司不是核心的部分，一般都不會給予重視，比如我現在的公司，開會99%都說sales的東西，寧願花一百多萬去做廣告而不願意花一兩萬去升級我們的電腦。可以說很鬱悶。

谢谢大家的意见。。。我申请这个部门叫ISG。。。我见过IT Manager是洋人。。。第二次见面的Team Leader的名字也是洋人名字。。。不知道［fhtgl］是哪个部门的？

我以前和Datacom还有Fletcher公司打过交道，感觉还是datacom待遇好一些，好像亚洲人也多一些。{:7_325:}好像有点跑题

澄清/ 更正下楼上几位的一些认识。FB的network/ system还是outsource给Datacom。ISG是Information Service Group，我以前在Datacom的时候一直都认为那个team是FB的IT部门，ISG的头头是洋人。那个中国人做team lead的是Fletcher Construction - IT，不是ISG.
