Actually, I dont earn 100k !! alot less than that, I earn in the range of 70 to 80k, which gives me $950 per week after tax, after student loan (minimum payment), and after kiwisaver (minimum contribution)

I work as a IT consultant, I used to be a java programmer.

Even though the saving is good, but I felt that it is hard to get enough money to buy a house (while maintaining a comfortable living). And once you have kids, its even harder, so I am looking into ways to start some small business from home, which is much more flexible in terms of working hours and effort.
