i think these 100 photo reflected the real life of 90% of chinese people living in China. We ranked 93 in the world in terms of living standard, so I am not surprised at all to see those 100 photo, but its sad and disturbing fact that as a nation, we (especially the chinese government) are more willingly to put a blind eye to those social problems and poverty.
In contrast, look at the glory of the 2008 olympic and the 60 years national day celebration, we see that our country is powerful, strong, and rich. And many of us dislike how Western world sees china, and we get angry when they point fingers at china's human right, poverty, and corruption, but most of these accusations are true. |
