Job Description:

We are seeking an Experienced Landscaper to join our team in Flat Bush. This role requires a skilled individual with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in landscaping, including proficiency in both hard and soft landscaping techniques.

Responsibilities:

•       Perform diverse landscaping tasks, including both hard landscaping (such as paving, decking, fencing, and water features installation) and soft landscaping (such as planting, mulching, pruning, and irrigation installation).
•       Operate and maintain a diverse range of landscaping machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
•       Lead and supervise a small team of landscapers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
•       Collaborate closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, designers, and clients to understand project requirements, execute landscaping plans, and ensure client satisfaction.
•       Manage and maintain project schedules, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget constraints.
•       Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on site, conducting regular inspections and toolbox talks to maintain a safe work environment.
•       Maintain accurate records of project activities, including materials used, hours worked, and equipment maintenance, to support project documentation and invoicing.
•       Demonstrate flexibility by occasionally assisting other teams within the company on larger landscaping projects, fostering teamwork and collaboration across departments.

Requirements:

•       Minimum of three years' experience in landscaping, focusing on both hard and soft landscaping.
•       Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency preferred.
•       Certificate or Diploma in Horticulture (Level 3 or higher) or a related field.
•       Valid New Zealand Class 2 driver license and WTR endorsement
•       Valid Site Safety Car preferred.
•       Experience with carpentry work and excavator operation preferred.
•       Ability to meet physical demands of outdoors work, including heavy lifting and varied weather conditions
