能帮我分析一下这两段话吗??是good argument 还是 bad的??
In Australia, the New South Wales state government announced that an additional four weeks of daylight saving time, observed by the state during the summer period, will have a positive economic impact on the city of Sydney and regional New South Wales. According to the New South Wales government, visitors will be encouraged to stay out later, spend more money and enjoy more sight-seeing activities in New South Wales. An extra month of evening sunlight will also increase opportunities for tourism-related businesses such as retail, hospitality and transport as well as for festivals and events. Wouldn't you agree that New Zealand should follow New South Wales lead on this? Tourism generates a lot of revenue in New Zealand, and this would make it even stronger! We shouldn't have daylight savings. It's an old tradition that was only relevant in the 19th century, during the industrial revolution, to get factories going longer. But today is different. People work behind computers now, so it just doesn't matter when the sun comes out. Other countries don't have it anymore, and they're much happier for it. But really, my sole reason for hating it is that I don't start working until 10:00, so all it does to me is making my days even shorter. And therefore, that makes me very angry. |
